Middle East is a regional aggregate in the MOTS table and accounted for 343,957 guest arrivals at Phuket accommodation establishments in 2025 — 3.4% of all foreign check-ins (10,085,407) and rank #9 among the 38 foreign rows (including the residual “Others”) the Ministry of Tourism and Sports publishes for the province. Against 2024 (320,846) that is +7.2%; against 2019, the last pre-pandemic year (117,800), it is +192.0%.
Over the whole series the market went from 148,953 in 2013 to 343,957 in 2025 (+130.9%). The best year on record is 2025 with 343,957 check-ins — the current year. The pandemic low was 2021 at 9,193.
