What a private week in Phuket is, and what it is not

A private week is a stay in which nothing is shared: the house, the boat, the aircraft, the guide and the kitchen are yours for the days you have them, and one person carries the plan from the first message to the last transfer. It is not a hotel package with a spa credit and a shared sunset cruise, and it is not a villa booked on a marketplace with a list of phone numbers for "activities" — the difference is that every part is chosen for the same group, the same dates and the same budget, and the parts are made to fit each other: the yacht day is on the calm morning, the helicopter is on the clear one, the chef knows what the children will not eat, and the car is at the pier before the boat is.

The $10,000 floor is not a price for a product; it is the point below which a genuinely private week in Phuket stops being possible without cutting something that makes it private. A staffed 4–5-bedroom villa on the west coast is $840–$3,600 a night across the seasons in the published agency ranges, a crewed catamaran day is €800–1,000 (≈ $929–1,161), a private speedboat to Phi Phi is 47,900 THB (≈ $1,452), and a private helicopter flight is 51,900 THB (≈ $1,573) for about forty minutes. Seven nights of the villa alone at the low-season end, plus one day on the water and a flight, is already most of $10,000. Above that line the programme scales in the obvious ways — more bedrooms, a motor yacht instead of a catamaran, the aircraft for two hours instead of forty minutes, a chef for every meal instead of three dinners — and the three example weeks below show where each budget lands.

How it works: request, plan within 24 hours, one contact

The request is the five-step form at the bottom of this page: arrival month and length of stay, who is travelling, the budget for the week, what the programme should contain, and where to send the plan. It takes under a minute and asks for nothing that a first call would not ask for anyway. It goes straight to the concierge team's Telegram — the same channel that receives every request on this site — and the person who answers is Artem Bukhkalov, who founded this site and Layan Real Estate and plans private stays with a partner network of villa owners, yacht and helicopter operators. Requests are answered personally, and the written plan comes back within 24 hours, usually much sooner.

The plan is a document, not a brochure: a day-by-day programme with the villa or suite named, the boat and the aircraft named, the transfers timed to the tides and the flights, and every line priced. The prices in that plan are the operators' current rates for your dates — not the reference figures on this page, which are published rates checked on 5 сент. 2026 г. and shown so that a budget can be placed before anyone is asked for a quote. Once the plan is agreed, the same contact books everything, holds the deposits with the operators, and stays on the phone for the week: a boat held in port by the Harbour Department, a child with an ear infection, a dinner moved to the beach because the sunset is better there — the plan changes, the contact does not.

Nothing on this page is a booking engine and nothing is stored on the site. The only automation is a short follow-up chat that opens after the form is sent and asks the two or three questions a planner would ask first — fixed dates or flexible, villa or hotel, yacht or helicopter — so the first version of the plan is already close. It can be closed at any time; the request is delivered either way.

What is included, and how each part is priced

Villas and suites. The index measures the 5★ hotel median in every area — $141 a night island-wide in сентябрь 2026 г., n = 87, with Сурин the dearest area at $307 — and the monthly median of 4-bedroom-plus villas ($3,902 a month, n = 24). Above the index sits the staffed-villa market, priced per night by the agencies that manage the houses: $840–3,600 for a 5-bedroom villa at Cape Yamu, $1,280–6,500 for 5–6 bedrooms on the Камала headland, $1,500–7,650 for a 6–7-bedroom estate. Yachts. A crewed sailing catamaran for up to eight is €800–1,000 (≈ $929–1,161) for a day with lunch on board; a 60 ft motor yacht for up to fourteen is 170,000 THB (≈ $5,154) in the low season and 200,000–230,000 THB (≈ $6,063–6,973) from November to April; a week on a crewed superyacht starts around $60,000 before the provisioning allowance of 25–35 % and 7 % VAT. Helicopters. One licensed operator, Skydance Helicopters (Advance Aviation), flies from a heliport beside the airport: a 30-minute scenic seat is 10,900–11,900 THB (≈ $330–361), the whole aircraft for about forty minutes is 51,900 THB (≈ $1,573), and the two-hour circuit over Phang Nga, Krabi and Phi Phi is 144,900 THB (≈ $4,393). Transfers from the airport to a villa or a resort helipad are quoted per flight on request; the helicopters page has the seasons, the rules and the weather months.

Private tours. The eight day trips the index prices as join-in seats exist as private versions: a private speedboat to Phi Phi at 47,900 THB (≈ $1,452) per boat, a luxury longtail for a beach day, a private guide for the Old Town, a car and driver for the sanctuary and the Big Buddha. The private-tours page shows, for each trip, the group size at which the private boat costs the same per head as the join-in median.

Chef, spa and events. A private-chef dinner in a villa runs 3,500–12,000 THB (≈ $106–364) per person for a group of four to six; a full-stay chef is usually quoted at 15–30 % of the villa rate. A 90-minute treatment at a resort spa on the Laguna estate is 5,400–6,000 THB (≈ $164–182). A private evening — a villa event fee of 25,000–100,000 THB (≈ $758–3,032) plus a DJ at 40,000 THB (≈ $1,213) — is the scale of a celebration for twenty; a full villa wedding with production starts around 1.5 million THB before catering, and is a different conversation.

Three example weeks, assembled from dated rates

The three programmes in the table are not packages and not offers: each is a list of published rates, checked on 5 сент. 2026 г., multiplied by the nights or the seats a typical group would need, converted to dollars once at the ECB reference rate of 2026-09-03 (32.985 THB per dollar). They exist so that a reader with a budget can see what it buys before asking. The real plan will differ — a villa's rate for your exact week, a yacht's availability, the season's surcharge over Christmas — and the real plan is what the request brings back.

From $10,000 ($11,148 as assembled): a couple or a small family in a 4-bedroom villa at the low-season end of the published range, a private speedboat day into Phang Nga Bay, two seats on the scenic flight, a private cook for the week with the shopping billed at cost, two spa treatments and a luxury longtail day to the near islands. It is a private week in every sense, and the villa is the line that moves it: the same house at the peak-season end of its range would put the week nearer $20,598.

Around $25,000 ($21,946 as assembled): two couples or a family of six in a 5-bedroom staffed villa at Cape Yamu, a crewed catamaran day with lunch on board, a private speedboat to Phi Phi, the whole helicopter for forty minutes, private-chef dinners on three evenings, four spa treatments and a private Old Town walk with a guide. This is the budget at which the sea and the air stop being shared with anyone, and at which the villa has room for staff to work without being in the way.

From $50,000 ($53,595 as assembled): eight to twelve guests in a 6–7-bedroom estate, a 60 ft motor yacht for a day in the high season, a private speedboat to the Similans in their season, the two-hour helicopter circuit over Phang Nga, Krabi and Phi Phi, a chef for every meal, a private evening with a DJ, and a spa treatment for everyone. Above this the programme becomes a superyacht week or a second estate for the second family, and the reference figures on the yachts page — $60,000–$392,000 a week for a superyacht before provisioning — are the next order of magnitude.

When to come: the season sets the price and the sea

Phuket's high season is November to April: dry, calm on the west coast, and the months when every boat runs and every villa is at the top of its range. Hotel occupancy on the island ran from 61.7 % in июнь to 84.1 % in дек. over the last twelve reported months (Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Thailand; latest months preliminary), and the villa ranges follow the same curve: the low end of a published range is May to October, the high end is the Christmas and Chinese New Year weeks. A private week in June costs less and loses the Similans, most of the Phi Phi crossings and the clear afternoons for the helicopter; a private week in February costs more and has all of them.

Two rules make the difference at the top of the market. The first is lead time: the best villas and the few large motor yachts are booked five to seven months ahead for Christmas and Chinese New Year, and a request in September for late December is already choosing from what is left. The second is the shoulder: late October to mid-December and March to April have the calm sea and the clear sky of the high season at the middle of the villa ranges, and a request for those weeks gets the plan with the widest choice. Who answers, and why the figures are dated

This site is a price index first: it measures what a hotel night, a villa month, a tour and a transfer cost in each Phuket area, with sample sizes and dates, and publishes the data under an open licence. The concierge service is the part of the site that uses that measurement in the reader's favour: the plan is written by people who look at the market every fortnight, and every reference figure on these pages carries the date it was checked and the source class it came from, so that a reader can see whether a quote is at the market or above it. The figures are not quotes from us and not commitments from the operators; they are the published rates on the day, converted once and shown with the rate date.
