Overnight yacht charter in Phuket: 43 boats with published multi-day rates, 39–170 ft

The operator publishes the overnight formats as '2 Days / 1 Night', '3 Days / 2 Nights', up to '7 Days / 6 Nights' on the boats that go to the Similans, and on the superyachts as a rate per night for '3–5 nights' and '6+ nights'. The card on this page shows the boat's lowest published rate, which on most boats is a day format; the overnight rows are on the boat's own page, with the season column they sit in. The cheapest boat on the list is Lagoon 450 St Anna at ฿31,900 (≈ $955) and the dearest is Song of Songs at USD 37,500 (≈ ฿1,253,063); the overnight rows run higher than the day rows by roughly the cost of the second day, less the fuel of the return.

Two days and one night is Phang Nga Bay from Ao Po: Koh Hong and Koh Panak by canoe in the afternoon, a night at anchor behind Koh Yao Noi or in the lee of Koh Hong, the hongs again at dawn, and Naka or the Khai islands on the way home — sheltered all year and the only overnight that runs comfortably from May to October. Three days and two nights adds Phi Phi: Phang Nga on day one, the crossing to Phi Phi Leh on day two with the lagoon to yourselves at eight in the morning and a night off Bamboo Island, Racha Noi on the way back. From Чалонг the same two nights are done in reverse, Racha first.

The sailing catamarans on this page are the classic liveaboards: four cabins with their own bathrooms, a saloon between the hulls, the trampolines for the stars, and the lowest rates per night on the list — the natural choice for a family of six or two couples for two or three nights in Phang Nga Bay. The power catamarans do the same with engines and reach Phi Phi in ninety minutes instead of four hours of sailing. The motor yachts of 45 to 65 ft sleep four to eight in two to four cabins and are the fast option for the two-night Phi Phi loop, with air conditioning that runs all night on the generator.

From November to April every overnight itinerary runs and the boats are booked weeks ahead for the Christmas and New Year fortnight, when the peak columns in the published tables apply. From May to October the Phi Phi crossing and the Similans are off — the park is closed, the west coast has its swell — and the overnight is Phang Nga Bay and Koh Yao, sheltered whatever the weather, at the low-season rate; the green season evening in the bay, with the cloud over the karsts, is the one most crews prefer. Anchorages are the captain's call on the day by the wind and the tide.
