How is each price observed?
On the 1st and 15th of every month, for a fixed travel date 30 days ahead, in each area and segment. The median, the low and the high of the sample are published with the sample size n and the season of the travel date.

क्या मापा जाता है
पाँच सीरीज़: इलाके और श्रेणी के हिसाब से होटल की रातें, इलाके और बेडरूम के हिसाब से विला की रातें और महीने, प्रति व्यक्ति डे-टूर के दाम, इलाके और गाड़ी के हिसाब से एयरपोर्ट ट्रांसफर, और इलाकेवार तीन स्तरों पर रोज़ जीने का बजट। हर सीरीज़ मापों का समूह है, कोई एक «कीमत» नहीं।
तय माप-तारीखें
माप हर महीने की 1 और 15 तारीख को लिए जाते हैं, 30 दिन आगे की एक तय यात्रा-तारीख के लिए, ताकि बिंदु महीनों के बीच तुलना योग्य रहें। हर बिंदु के साथ मौसम भी दर्ज होता है (हाई: नवंबर–अप्रैल; लो: मई–अक्टूबर)।

हम माध्यिका, नमूने का न्यूनतम और अधिकतम, और नमूना n प्रकाशित करते हैं। जिस सेगमेंट में 5 से कम माप हों, उसे «डेटा नहीं» के रूप में प्रकाशित किया जाता है — अंदाज़े से बेहतर है खाली छोड़ना।
स्रोत
सार्वजनिक लिस्टिंग के दाम, पार्टनर प्राइस फ़ीड और द्वीप पर की गई जाँच। स्रोतों के नाम और URL हर माप के साथ अपने सत्यापन के लिए रखे जाते हैं, पर प्रकाशित नहीं होते; यह इंडेक्स किसी तीसरे पक्ष की कैटलॉग दोबारा नहीं छापता।
मुद्रा
सारे आँकड़े अमेरिकी डॉलर में हैं। देश-पेजों पर स्थानीय मुद्रा के बजट fx.json की विनिमय दर से बदले जाते हैं, और तारीख पेज पर दी होती है।
इतिहास
मासिक बिंदु price-history.json में जुड़ते जाते हैं और कभी दोबारा नहीं लिखे जाते। स्पार्कलाइन तब दिखती है जब सीरीज़ के दो या अधिक बिंदु हो जाएँ।
किसका अनुमान कभी नहीं लगाया जाता

Why is a segment shown as "no data"?
Because fewer than 5 observations were available. A small sample is published as no data rather than as a shaky median — null is better than a guess.
What counts as high and low season?
High season is November to April; low season is May to October. The season is recorded from the travel date of the observation, not the date it was taken.
Are missing prices estimated?
No. Prices are never modelled, extrapolated from earlier months or filled from neighbouring areas. A missing number stays missing until it is observed.
How is the price history kept?
Monthly points are appended to the history file and never rewritten; a month is never duplicated for the same series. Sparklines appear once a series has two or more points.
Which currency is used, and how are conversions made?
All figures are in US dollars. Local-currency budgets on the country pages use the exchange rate on file, and the rate date is printed next to every converted figure.
How do I cite or correct a figure?
Every number may be quoted with a link to the page it comes from; the dataset is CC BY 4.0. To correct a figure, send the area, series, what you observed and the date through the contact page — it is re-checked on the next observation run. The first observation of the index is सितंबर 2026.
