나이양 is the airport beach, and its hotels trade on the ten-minute transfer as much as on the sand. The Slate, at the southern end, is the district's best-known address, a design hotel on an old tin-mine site; Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa Nai Yang Beach and Dewa Phuket are the large four- and five-star properties along the beach road.
