What 2026 looks like so far
The Ministry of Tourism and Sports has published 7 months of 2026 for Phuket province, январь–июль. Over those months the province recorded 8 098 059 visitors — 5 954 671 foreign and 2 143 388 Thai — against 8 223 470 in the same months of 2025, a change of −1.5%. Tourism revenue for the same months is 310 962 million baht (−0.7% year on year) and hotel occupancy averaged 75.5%, compared with 77.3% a year earlier. The busiest published month was февраль with 1 320 701 visitors; the quietest июнь with 979 389.
Every 2026 month is marked preliminary by the ministry and is revised when the next monthly report appears; the 2026 annual block, with the Thai / foreign split by nationality, will not exist before mid-2027. Open-Meteo's ERA5 reanalysis gives 9 full months of 2026 for the west coast. Rain so far totals 1 292 mm against a 2015–2025 median of 1 752 mm for the same months. март was the sunniest month (350 hours) and июнь the wettest (320 mm on 25 rain days). The rough-sea column counts days with a maximum wave height above 1.5 m — the same threshold the daily page uses for its beach flag.
The baht in 2026
At the European Central Bank's month-end reference rates the dollar bought 33.41 baht at the end of октябрь 2026 г., +6.3% on the end of январь 2026 г.; the index converts baht prices at 33.41 (октябрь 2026 г.). A stronger baht makes every Phuket price in dollars or euros higher even when nothing changes locally, which is why the price index records the rate it used next to each observation.

What is not in the file yet
As of 2026-09-05, the sources have not published: MOTS monthly figures for август–December 2026 (published two to three months after each month); the 2026 annual block with the nationality split (the ministry's annual file arrives in mid-2027); 2026 airport passenger counts (Airports of Thailand publishes the calendar year in the following spring). The page is rebuilt on every data refresh and fills in as each source publishes; nothing on it is projected.
