Over those months the province recorded 8,098,059 visitors — 5,954,671 foreign and 2,143,388 Thai — against 8,223,470 in the same months of 2025, a change of −1.5%. The full-year context — 14,248,853 visitors and 76.3% occupancy in 2025 — is on the statistics hub; this page only carries what exists for 2026.
Weather and sea in 2026
Open-Meteo's ERA5 reanalysis gives 9 full months of 2026 for the west coast. Rain so far totals 1,292 mm against a 2015–2025 median of 1,752 mm for the same months. At the European Central Bank's month-end reference rates the dollar bought 33.41 baht at the end of October 2026, +6.3% on the end of January 2026; the index converts baht prices at 33.41 (October 2026). A stronger baht makes every Phuket price in dollars or euros higher even when nothing changes locally, which is why the price index records the rate it used next to each observation.
