The northern headland above Pansea Beach holds Amanpuri, the first Aman ever built, and The Surin Phuket shares the same cove; Twinpalms Phuket, a short walk from the sand on the Surin–Bang Tao road, has been the area's design-hotel anchor for two decades. The three- and four-star bracket is a handful of boutique properties — Manathai Surin among them — on the flat behind the beach and along Srisoonthorn Road. There are no hostels.
