Bangkok Hospital Siriroj

Founded in 1982 as Phuket International Hospital, the first private hospital in southern Thailand, renamed Siriroj International Hospital and then Bangkok Hospital Siriroj after joining the BDMS group; JCI-accredited since 2012 with a third accreditation in 2019. It runs a 24-hour emergency and trauma service, an intensive care unit and the island's only 24-hour multiplace recompression chamber (Hyperbaric Services Thailand / SSS network, on the hospital grounds since 1996) — the destination for a diving accident.
